With a strong academic background in Business & Commerce from Cambridge and extensive experience in the capital markets, he brings hands-on expertise across investment banking, private equity advisory, and IPO consulting. Vikram S. Chatterjee

Regarded as one of the most astute strategic minds in cross-border finance, Vikram brings over 28 years of experience in navigating the complex intersection of Asian emerging markets and Western capital flows. he spent two decades at J.P. Morgan in London and Singapore, where he led the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) Investment Banking division. He specializes in advising large-cap technology conglomerates on capital restructuring, strategic carve-outs, and entering high-barrier markets. A Rhodes Scholar, Vikram holds an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His deep network across the APAC region allows FundingSkool to access off-market transactions before they hit the auction block. With over 25 years of core experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Restructuring, and Consulting, he is a seasoned professional actively engaged in business consulting, strategic planning, and fundraising for early-stage and growth-stage enterprises, with increasing focus on venture capital investing. He has successfully originated and executed transactions across multiple products, including Private Equity, Debt, Mezzanine, Restructuring, and early-stage investments, spanning diverse sectors such as Hospitality, Real Estate, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom, Media, and Entertainment. His geographic exposure includes India, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam. He has led and executed some of the largest private equity transactions, including a landmark private company PE transaction in India and one of the largest pharmaceutical PE transactions in Vietnam, along with numerous cross-border and domestic deals. He maintains strong relationships with private equity funds, domestic and international debt providers, global special situation and distressed asset funds, and corporates, and has successfully closed mandates across PE and debt raises, structured finance, project finance, M&A, cross-border financing, restructuring, distressed debt resolution, and project management.

Mr. Basavaraj Vijay Karjinni is a senior member of the FundingSkool team, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience across business strategy, wealth management, risk management and business development. He plays a key role in advising clients on strategic growth, capital planning, distribution expansion, and operational optimization, particularly for founder-led and growth-stage businesses. He has extensive experience working with fintech platforms, financial services firms, insurance companies, and consumer-focused enterprises, and has managed large-scale operations involving profit centre management, P&L ownership, and national distribution networks. His deep understanding of market expansion, channel strategy, and execution-led growth adds significant value to FundingSkool’s capital advisory and business scaling initiatives. Over his corporate career, he has held senior roles with leading organizations including Samsung, Haier, Sanyo BPL, and Kent RO. He brings strong on-ground execution capability, especially across B2B and B2C channels in key Indian markets. At FundingSkool, Mr. Karjinni works closely with founders and leadership teams to help them strengthen business fundamentals, improve investor readiness, and achieve sustainable long-term growth through structured strategy and disciplined execution.

Meera serves as the conscience of the firm, ensuring that FundingSkool’s aggressive growth never comes at the expense of governance. With a background in forensic accounting and regulatory compliance, Meera joins the firm after a distinguished tenure as the CFO of a Tier-1 Global Bank’s Investment Division. She is the final authority on capital allocation, risk taxonomy, and Basel III capital adequacy. Beyond traditional finance, Meera leads the firm’s Impact Investing and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) integration. She designs frameworks that allow clients to measure the societal return on their investments alongside financial performance. Her rigorous approach to due diligence ensures that FundingSkool maintains its reputation as the most trusted boutique firm in the market. Meera is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from INSEAD. Meera orchestrated the issuance of a $500 million Green Bond for a renewable energy client, the first of its kind in the region. The bond was oversubscribed by 6x due to her transparent reporting framework, earning the firm the "Deal of the Year" award from International Financing Review.

Abhishek Dhanesha

Mr. Dhanesha brings over 17 years of experience in domestic and cross-border transactions, with a strong passion for capital markets and value creation. He has successfully executed and advised on deals aggregating to approximately INR 35 billion, across diverse transaction structures. He specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, capitalization and leveraging of businesses, including IPO advisory, Private Equity, and early-stage investments, and also provides due diligence support services. He has advised and guided small and mid-sized enterprises and promoter groups on strategic planning, financial modelling, fund management, operational improvement, and process digitization. Previously, he was associated with Sun Capital Group as Partner & Director, and prior to that with Systematix Group, Avista (Houlihan Lokey), and Aaryaa Cross Border Advisors. He also served as Head of Finance & Legal at LEAP India Pvt. Ltd., a private-equity-owned company, where within the first seven months he successfully raised INR 100 crore from an institutional investor, followed by an additional INR 50 crore from a family office. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and a Law graduate (LLB), registered with the Bar Council of India, bringing a strong blend of financial and legal expertise to complex transactions.
